And in what way is this different from being a normal Richmond supporter? _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

A chance for Will HE and Checkers to assert themselves and keep the Tigers guessing. |
Maybe Rich. insist on doing it by positioning rather than opponent. Last time, it seemed Astbury was often with Cox higher up the ground. Grimes was reportedly on WHE. Media all think Grimes will be on JdG and assume Rance will be the deepest defender. If they really insist on positioning, we could dictate the match-ups accordingly. |

If Astbury plays, after having had a virus during the week, he's not going to be 100%. Whether flue or gastro, he's going to be weakened, which is good for us. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

You learn so much more from losses than wins.
The only team who may do anything differently tonight is Collingwood.
The Tigers will be predictable. All we have to do is execute the plan and force the Tigers to try something outside their comfort zones.
The weight of expectation and fear of failure can do funny things to a hot favourite. |

I just hope the "we had injuries the last time" excuse hasn't seeped into the playing group's subconscious. |

Strike early build some scoreboard pressure. If the tigers are going to be vulnerable at all it will be early on.
I am not saying we have nothing to lose but all the expectation is on the tigers to win the flag. If we get to the last quarter with us in front or very close to them, maybe the mind games start taking over. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

May as well play dirty. Just a thought. |
Should've suggested that before their training session yesterday.
Any bold predictions for tonight RH? Earlier in the week you were pessimistic - still so? |
Not pessimistic, just realistic.
We’ll also realistically win by 28 points (two junk time goals to Richmond). _________________ Est. 2002 |

Appreciate your optimism, but I feel like, if we win this, it'll be a titanic struggle and there won't be much in it at the end. That's perfectly okay if so; bring it on! Let's hope this is one for the ages. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

I hear Pendles let young Jax loose at Punt Road Oval during the week. Kids are little Typhoid Mary's with the flu bugs. |

Question: would you rather the heart break of losing a prelim or the grand final? I woke up in a sweat and screaming last night dreaming Melbourne had beaten us in the grand final. So I had a few shots of whisky, and fell back asleep after watching the 2010 prelim against Geelong.
I've got a good feeling about tonight, and I reckon Cox is going to get a fair run with the umps too. |

Melb. winning is less bad than Rich. winning, which would be the Death of Football. But losing a GF is more traumatic than losing a prelim. |

Got to be in it to win it, despite the chance of losing grand final... |
