Looks like Monjon. Monjon? Okay.

Makes it sound like it's named after someone called "Monjon Allan Jeans"...

The award for best finals player is called the "Gary Ayres Award". No sponsor, then? So Steele gets nothing except a paper certificate?

Congratulations Nathan Buckley on being awarded Coach of the year; what a wonderful performance this season.

Surely everyone on Nicks now acknowledges that Bucks can coach 😕

Outstanding achievement by Bucks, after a few tough years.

Winning a Premiership would cap off a fantastic season.

http://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/news/2018-09-25/bucks-named-coach-of-the-year

For all those who hung shit on Bucks over the last couple of years, shame on you. I've never had any problem with those who thought Bucks' coaching was not good enough, after all, sport is about getting results, and our last 4 years have delivered poor results. The only people I am ashamed of are those who chose to personally vilify and abuse our coach. I won't name names, as you all know who you are, and your behaviour was inexcusable from supposed Collingwood supporters.

Anyway, as I've been predicting since mid way through the season, Bucks is officially the coach of the year. Coping with the worst injury toll of any AFL team, what he has managed to achieve for our club has been nothing short of incredible. But more than anything, he has been so resilient, determined, calm and classy, in the face of the kind of pressure, no AFL coach has been under before and survived. And he aint done yet. Hopefully he'll get to lift that Premiership Cup on Saturday afternoon.

So congratulations Bucks on your well deserved award, and thank you for providing our club with such great leadership and for steering us through difficult times, to get us to where we are now, on the cusp of pure unadulturated greatness. Go Pies and Go Bucks!

"Show me the team with the best playing group and i'll show you a great coach" - Leigh Matthews.

The only thing surprising about this award is that no one noticed that we didn't have the list or the game plan in place to win in buck's first 6 years.

Congrats Nathan Buckley. Well deserved after a difficult few years.
He has carried himself with dignity throughout his coaching career.
He had the players in his camp, which saved his job last year. He has learned to trust his staff and devolve responsibilities to others.
We're all winners now.

Mon Jon is a security firm btw.

Well done, Bucks.

To make it to the Grand Final this year.............I still can't believe it. The change in the club and team has been astronomical this year. At best, I hoped we'd make the 8 and lose a final and wait for 2019.

The belief in this group is amazing.

Go the Pies!

For the superstitious (which seems to be many Nicksters), let's hope this is not like Nathan winning the Norm Smith Medal through 3/4-time voting...

Congratulations to Bucks and the club on a remarkable turn around this year, I can't think of anyone who was a supporter of this great club that wouldn't be genuinely thrilled that his fortunes has finally turned around - still that being said, I would not change a single post of mine.

Being a fairly large critic of Bucks in the past, I'd like to make it clear that it was _never personal_ and I certainly don't feel ashamed nor even wrong but I'm very happy that the worm has finally turned - because for a long time 'something?!' was missing - what that is who knows? but I'm a realist and I'm 110% in the 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' Club - long may it continue.
