Legends does guarantee a seat. Likewise for the grand final if we make

Thanks Burnsy. Glad to know starting my 2 Legends memberships 15 years ago guarantees me a prelim against Richmond. _________________ Magpies love pies(Lol) |

The way I read everything; the memberships that guarantee you a seat only apply to the GF.
I’m just a season ticket holder; but I can get on and get a seat for the prelim’ at 9am tomorrow. If you’re Legends, you are classified as the same as me.
When it comes to the GF however, you’d be priority 1, whereas I’m 3.
No don’t someone will tell me if I’m wrong here. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

Interesting. If there is no guarantee that would seem somewhat distorted for a Legends Member. A lot more seats at a Prelim available for members of competing clubs than a Grand Final, but no guarantee for a Prelim. Hmm.... _________________ Magpies love pies(Lol) |

There are going to be A LOT of members that miss out on tickets tomorrow.
There just are not enough seats. The guarantee of any finals ticket opportunity should have changed the minute the total of any two clubs reached MCG capacity.
The only seats anyone is guaranteed to is Legends getting a GF seat. Any other finals you only have the opportunity to buy. Pretty amazing to consider that GF tix are easier to get than Prelim tix. _________________ HANDS OFF OUR JUMPER

Same with AFL, guaranteed a GF ticket but a 1st year Carlton members has as much chance of a ticket as a full Collingwood club support member |

I believe there needs to be a day devoted to just club members. For example:
9am-10am = Club 5 and Richmond equivalent
10am-11am = Legends and Richmond equivalent
11am-12am = etc...
Then on Tuesday, tickets are open for AFL members and the MCC, and Wednesday is for the general public.
Just seems woefully unfair that someone with a 3 game membership could buy seats before someone who is a Club 5 or Legends member for example. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

I know we were discussing this last night at half time, but I'm bloody nervous.
If tomorrow is a disaster, I'm going to start begging my Melbourne supporting uncle for a guest pass into the MCC. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

100 percent! Or at the very least Richmond members first login and go for their allocation of tickets. Then we login later and get our allocation. People unfortunately would still miss out, but the traffic on the site would be no where near as bad and make things a lot smoother. |

I'm going to buy a travel package with ticket to be sure I get a ticket because I don't think my interstate membership gives me early access
So I'm online last night in the home office and wife comes in says "so I'm guessing your going to Melbourne this weekend" I reply yes dear I am you know that why do you ask ?
Oh no reason she says
So now I'm nervous
I ask would you like to come with me ?
She goes ummm no thanks your bad enough in our house let alone with thousand of like minded people
Ok all good
So then she says so what happens if you win this weekend ?
I say you mean when we win this weekend !!!
Well I'll be going back to Melbourne the week after for the big game
She's says so your going down Friday morning coming back Saturday I interrupt and say no Sunday ok so Sunday then when would you go back ?
Me ummm likley Wednesday I want to get to training and the parade and soak in the atmosphere
So she says well what's the point of coming home for 2 days then ?
I said to see your beautiful face dear unless you want to fly down for a few days in between hint hint hint
She goes well if you can guarantee me that we can do something other than watch football for a couple days I might come down
I say I can do that on Monday Tuesday but after that all bets are off
So I'll be in Melbourne for at least 2 days but hopefully a extra week after that and now planning to fly the wife down for a few days in between for company then get out to training and watch the lads
Damn I love it when we are in finals |

That is not a bad idea, especially for a prelim b/w 2 big clubs.
The only issue you may have is like us, 1 of our group is not a Captains member just seasons ticket plus reserve seat so they are in a different category. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |
