Our official intro song is beginning to have a significant meaning, read the lyrics and ponder our season.

So Richmond have won 23 games in a row at the G ay?

Never Cared for what they do

We'll win the one that matters

Nothing Else Matters

This song has copped a lot of negativity, it could end up being a famous Collingwood song if we go all the way. Especially if it becomes a One-Season Wonder.

Nothing Else Matters
Metallica

So close, no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
And nothing else matters
Never opened myself this way
Life is ours, we live it our way
All these words I don't just say
And nothing else matters
Trust I seek and I find in you
Every day for us something new
Open mind for a different view
And nothing else matters
Never cared for what they do
Never cared for what they know
But I know
So close, no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
And nothing else matters
Never cared for what they do
Never cared for what they know
But I know
I never opened myself this way
Life is ours, we live it our way
All these words I don't just say
And nothing else matters
Trust I seek and I find in you
Every day for us, something new
Open mind for a different view
And nothing else matters
Never cared for what they say
Never cared for games they play
Never cared for what they do
Never cared for what they know
And I know, yeah!
So close, no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
No, nothing else matters

Still would've preferred Ted Mulry's 'Jump in my car'.

Actually, the team theme is "Nothing else matters but us".

The lyrics are great but the tune befits a funeral and shouldn't have been used as a pump up song, imho.

One of my favourite Metallica songs, but I would have used something different for the purposes of a pre game song.

@ Cam and RudeBoy

I know what you mean, the best bit is the guitar solo late in the song. It doesnt go for long. sometimes they time it perfect so that bit plays just before the bounce.
