just an opinion of another observer who happens to be a journalist. For mine, the votes on Nicks are generally a more accurate indication of the better players.

Interesting that several of the media outlets had Treloar listed as one of our best, yet he hasn't received a vote (yet) on Nicks!

Those ratings are...different to mine, that's for sure.

I can't help but wonder if Treloar is being graded on a curve due to coming back from injury. He was horrible last night, just about our worst.

Maynard and WHE were both about a 6, not a 4, Crisp at least a 7, Thomas and Stevo are also too low. On the other hand, Mayne was a 4 at best, same with Aish and Sier was a 6-7. He was excellent for three quarters, but I don't think I saw him in the last.

If we stay in the race he will sizzle

Howe and backline did a rippa job for the majority of the match but of the three my man Goldy was tougher than a bag of nails

Right so now the AFL franchise mob and we will give them hell

^ Not just us, but Bucks, too – singled Mayne out for praise in his press conference, and pointed out that he nullified McGovern after quarter time (as well as the good work he did around the ground). Yet the ratings above put him on par with or below Howe and Treloar, who both struggled, and could each only give Goldsack 6/10 despite him winning nearly every contest he was involved in. Too dependent on the stats sheet, methinks.

The risk to put three guys in who were relatively short of a run was not all gloom and doom as The Sack came thru with the best performance of the three

I expect all three better for the gallop and not that it guarantees blinders from Howe and Treloar you can expect them to impact more next week

OK be a full on wrestle next week and am bloody sure they will fight like hell

Say this much given we had the same run of injuries Tigers had Saturday nights game would have been a “home game “ for us
