Thats not a fair comment.

You should explain why.

Or do you want another Key-Defender when we already have 6 of them ( For 2 positions )

According to their sunrise president everyone on their list is tradeable. Wingard wouldn't come cheap and we couldn't possibly expect to get him as well as may or lynch without selling the farm. That would mean sacrificing picks which we need to secure Kelly and quaynor.

@MatthewBoydfanclub

I feel you have been very Condescending when adding your input to this discussion.

You have also failed to explain what we are going to do with 7 key position defenders ( assuming your going to trade in another )

Thanking Higher Powers that I am not involved in Collingwoods list managment is a childish response to me geniuenly wanting to acquire Chad Wingard.

Its almost as if you feel like a braniac for identifying that we are currently short on Key-Position players.

Will that be the case in 2019. NO

Is DeGoey playing Forward because of Billy&Faz abscence. YES

Is Collingwood better with DeGoey in midfield. YES

Is DeGoey potential as a future Brownlow being Wasted forward? YES

Does Chad Wingard allow DeGoey freedom to move into middle. YES

Is Chad Wingard an upgrade on Elliot and Fasolo. YES

Does Wingard change our structure. NO

Is another Key-Defender over-stacking. Yes

Does chad Wingard improve our chances of winning a flag. YES

Yet, you dont agree with these obvious answers.
And your the Genius???????

We are desperate for key position defenders, we only have one Moore and he is injured most of the time, Dunne has done a great job this year but he will be out for most of next that makes him a year older, and he is only 192 tall, also we cannot rely on shaz, and he is only 192cm, so where are all these tall key position we have, we are going into the final with a very poor back line, injuries have played a huge part in this, but unless we get a couple of talls next will be in trouble. As for Fasalo and Elliot we have already replaced them with a upgrade Hoskin Elliot, Stephenson and Thomas. Fasalo has been ordinary for a couple of years, Elliot is good enough but always injured, Ben Reid always injured

Elliot to Hawthorn and that leaves a spot for someone with Tats so Wingard fits the bill. Wingard would be handy but you would think KPP would be more our target.

^
Some people at Nicks want us to have Dunn, Goldsack, Reid, Moore, Shaz, Madgen and May on our list next year to compete for 2 spots.

Instead of acquiring another weapon in attack

I can't decide whether you are serious or you are just bored so started trolling to see what reaction you could get.

Moore and May sounds good.

Reid’s finished
Sack isn’t a key back and has one or two seasons left.
Dunn will miss half of next year and it will be his last
Shaz misses most of next year and not a KPP either
Magden not up to it and a fill in at best

So the answer is YES. We need May. Much more than we need Lynch, who is Richmond bound anyway.

Where do people get their facts from?

Dunn will be ready to go Rd1
Next year will not be his last.

Goldsack is more than a capable Full-Back

Shaz will be back Mid-Season

If Reid was finished he would not have recieved another contract.

Yes Magden is depth

Heck, even Langdon has been doing fantastic at Full-Back in recent weeks.

I would not be splurging big money for a Key Defender when we can get by as is.

Especially if it means we are going to get an A grader in Wingard

Exactly. Well said. Does Lynden know about Damien's plans to retire him prematurely? He hasn't got a battered body to my knowledge. 2-3 years left in him at least.
