What I have thought since I was a little kid that AFL finals ticket availability should be prioritised primarily by your H&A attendance for the competing clubs.
Impossible to implement previously but with technology improvements there can now be a vision to move towards a system where those who turn up week in week out get a fair crack at access.
I've missed 1 Melbourne game this year and traveled to Perth but I realise I am a 1% chance of getting to see us win a flag ever again.
I'm not complaining about my individual circumstances as I am blessed to have a relatively free-ride.
But for people who fork out and turn up well its simply not fair - where's the reward for loyalty and the hard yards?

Guy at work yesterday waving around his $10 ticket in MCC, grin ear to ear. Boss's son. Carlton supporter.. There are other jobs |
I missed out on the $10 reserved seat  Then went into Dining Room ballot (which includes a seat on the balcony). Missed out. Then they offered those that missed out a "Main Event dining package" - $104.50 for 3 course meal, beer wine & softdrink PLUS reserved seat on the balcony - BINGO!! Finally have a reserved seat.
MCC (for first time that I can remember) are even giving wristbands to be in standing room. She's going to be chockers.
If I do end up sitting next to a non CFC or RFC supporter I'll definitely be asking why! |

 What's disgraceful is knowing how much demand there was and how many people were missing out you actually got seats & knocked them back???? What's the saying, something about "..... is as .... does"? |

Well I wasn't going to the top level, so would have been standing anyway
I've also been on ticketek before telling me no tickets available only to later offer them depending on how quickly they open the bays |
