How long until he stops being so incredibly irresponsible in his forward attack and starts slowing the play down out of defence to find a 15m sideways option? I'll give him two more weeks.

Yep, took the game on and run and carried.
Was a small bright spot.

Yeah a couple of clangers but his willingness to take the game on was refreshing. Give him more opportunities.

Is this a "yes or no" question?

Drop him. It is not the Collingwood way.

Dinky little pass into the corridor for a turnover is the way we play.

The absolute gall to take the game on, run for 20 metres, kick long out of the danger zone.

Lets hope they stop this ridiculous notion of breaking lines n moving the ball fwd, , he must lean to handball no further than 1 to 2 metres to a teamnate under pressure preferably backwards , and his fist option should always be slow the ball down so the opposition can man up , the he must go back or sideways , maybe a stint in the VFL will help

One of the few positives on a disappointing night.

Enjoyed seeing him take the game on even when he made some mistakes along the way.

The scary thing is Sydney have a real ability to keep developing these attacking flanker types and had no room in the side for him.

They must be close to the best in the business in moulding late or rookie pick selections into best 22 talent.

His game only got better on a second watching. That sequence in the last quarter where he had no immediate option, but used his speed to create time in the last line of defence and delivered a perfectly weighted pass to Moore.... that was exactly what we need.

My mail is that Murray absolutely hates Longmire, who completely ignored him during his time at the Swans. However, he credits Rhyce Shaw for being a great coach.

You watched a second time? You deserve a medal. Taking a bounce in the square was gutsy. Sad when out two debutants showed the way to the rest.

^ Maybe he watched it backwards the second time, and it looked much better that way.
