I've got Telstra cable. I'm not complaining now but I might be if/when I have to change to NBN and get slower.
Just tested my speed here https://speedof.me/
62mbps download speed, 5mbps up. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

sounds like you have cable at max speed so hold off as long as you can. They'll eventually force you across. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

Ha ha, mobile reception is great when my mobile rings all I have to do is run outside before it rings out and answer it, really great on these cold and wet days! |
That's not a mobile phone. It's a stealthy fitbit. |

I had the NBN available July 2017, within a month it was unavailable as they had to do some more work. It's now available again as of this month and I have 18 months to sign on. I am on Telstra Cable with unlimited data with minimum of 35mbs down at $50 a month. To go to NBN with a suggested minimum of 45mbs (not guaranteed) through HCF and only 1TB of data for $70. Um no thanks as the price is bullshit when they cannot guarantee a service. Hopefully in 14 months they have fixed the plethora of bugs and varied the price low enough. The NBN is a cluster fck brought to us by Malcolm. |

11.9 download and .8 upload seems to be average until the kids are both streaming shows.
ill ring next week, and culprit i see what you mean! they promise the world and the fine print says we can guarantee the speeds! telstra seriously suck, but better the devil you know it seems _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

TP it's a major issue and I am lucky, I can sit back and wait. I think the major issue and it's coming to crunch time where a lot of people who haven't switched to the NBN they will be cut off and if they do it last minute they will be without a connection for up to 8 weeks. Least it will coincide with a Federal Election. |

We've got Optus cable & not sure of the speeds but very fast.
We also had NBN installed on the outside wll (not connected) and have about 15 more months left. I'm not doing anything for 12 months then I'll start looking. Hopefully the competition will have improved prices (and services).
Like a lot of others I'll have to pay more for an inferior product.
F*ck Abbott & Turnbull, they utterly f*cked up here. They only see infrastructure spending in terms of roads & subsdizing the mining industry.
