Isn't it unfair for Josh to be held as emergency every week he's omitted. OF course, he was a late in last time, but how can he improve if he isn't able to play in the VFL?

Josh has played the last 3-4 senior games in a row I think, so he's a good choice to me to be the carry over player. Callum Brown is the one who needs more work in the field if he wants to get back into the senior team.

The hail has just got to South Caulfield. TV reception is good. Late change, not going to Etihad.

Like the inclusions of De Goey and Aish. De Goey terrorised Brisbane's defence last time we played them.

Won't be an easy game, but tipping us to prevail by 2 to 3 goals.

2-3 goals. Jesus, I hope were more convincing than that.

Quick goals are easy at Etihad. A 4 goal lead with 5 mins to go is easily reigned in. Apart from our defence, were our strongest weve been for weeks (minus Treloar). Just dominate the middle and F50 and we should win in a canter.

The thin defensive stocks due to injuries is what might keep the Lions in it in my opinion.

Amongst the bottom six sides, five of them are the lowest scoring sides in the competition whereas Brisbane is ranked 10th for scoring.

I hope I'm wrong, because we need to boost our percentage to give ourselves the best chance of a top 8 spot, or even a top 4 spot if we can get that far.

Daics Jnr has played the last 7 in a row, and 10 out of our last 11 games [he missed round 13]. That was excellent for his development but yeah, probably needs a rest.

Hawks beating Geelong today was good for our top 8 hopes, not so great for our top 4 hopes, but yeah %

Getting an uneasy feeling about tonight. It feels like we are ready for a game when we really don't put up much of a fight. We have been honorable in defeat the past 2 weeks and I feel like our bubble is really about to burst. Hope I'm wrong as we absolutely just have to win this game. I'll take a 1 point win here.
