As sour as it is to bring it up, Short Adelaide lost Ryder, Dixon and houston in their game against the weagles and more than likely won't play next week at the MCG against us... Evens best 22 out a fair bit!

Thats right - we dont seem to want to start the game, let alone finish it.

Anyway, back on topic.
If Ryder and Dixon miss, we become a serious chance very quickly.

That said, we haven't had our obligatory injuries yet. Still time for season ending injuries to Grundy and Pendles to even things up.

well, with all our soldiers out, Reid gone today now, it makes it a bit even anyway, for sure.

Yep, evens it up. Much better chance now. Just need to improve our efficiency and start better.

Watched the Port and Eagles match in the bar at Etihad. Everyone went off their heads when Port choked.

Dan Houston & Charlie Dixon have played every game this year. Houston has what appears a pretty bad concussion, youd reckon he would be out. Dixon it appears has broken his ankle - hes gone for the year. Ryder looks like a reoccurrence of the hip that kept him out for many weeks, surely he will miss and if as bad as before, then hes done for 2018 too.

good for us. Really unfair for Port.

It seems that the secret to success in AFL revolves around injuries. I wonder if the secret is just to rotate players through a season and be prepared to lose three extra games. Maybe concede the odd game. there has to be an answer.

^ Yes, but a lot of injuries in general seem to be not soft-tissue but getting wiped out in a clash.
