Let to let people know I've changed my user name from bucksisfuturecoach to MatthewBoydFanClub. When I chose my original user name Nathan was a player, then he transferred to the media for a year before returning to the club as an assistant coach and finally being appointed senior coach for 2012. As far as I'm concerned he served a 5 year apprenticeship as senior coach before finally emerging this year as one of the best senior coaches in the competition. Full credit to the admin last year for not giving in to the pressure when it would have been so easy to appoint another senior coach. Obviously Nathan isn't a future coach. He is the coach. He is our coach and is doing a superlative job despite all the difficulties in trying to field a competitive side when so many players are falling over. Now is a good time to admit my admiration for Buckley after a couple of losses. It's far easier to jump onto the bandwagon after a few wins. The good thing about injuries is you get to blood players who wouldn't have had the opportunity to play had the senior players not been injured. Callum Brown, Mihocek, Madgen, Daicos and Appleby are going to be very good players for us in the coming years.
After people read this could the mods please merge this thread into the Nathan Buckley coaching thread. |

Maybe you both should re-think your use names considering both can be read as short for different drugs.
