Post subject: Best place to watch the Qualifying final in Melbourne? | |
|
What are people thoughts on good places to watch the final?
I'm after a big screen, atmosphere, and ability to be able to still hear the commentary if possible. |

These are options I've found so far. Haven't been to any of these venues in ages. Not sure what their screen quality is like.
Cricketers arms
The Royal
London Taven
The Great Northern |

Where do you live?
Check out your local RSL as an option.
Also, maybe check with the club, I thought I saw something that they'll be showing it on the big screen at the Holden centre. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

The Sports Bar, York On Lilydale Hotel. Big screens, cheap bistro bar lunch. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Unless at the game, can't beat the comfort of home. Dickhead and opposition fan free zone, volume control, easy access to refreshments and amenities and no concerns about transport!
Actually, if it weren't for the atmosphere you get at the game, I'd watch them all at home. _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

I find myself in agreement with that. With so many fkn Sunday games, I watched most games from home this season. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

The game will be on at the Holden Centre.
I’m thinking about going.
Has anyone been to watch games on the big screen there? _________________ - Side By Side - |

About 10 years ago when I was younger and stupider. We played a nicks game at Gosches paddock earlier (IIRC umpired by KB's son), then went to the then Lexus centre, watched the game on the big screen, then walked to King St.
My overall recollections, apart from being busy and hard to get a beer, are a tad fuzzy. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I live a footy oval from the York. Massive chance. _________________ The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after. |
