I don't get where all the negativity is coming from. Our form really hasn't wavered all that much. What's hurting us is not just the guys on the sidelines but the KPP in-game injuries that have seen us down important rotations in most of the past 8 games. If we can finish a game with the 22 we started with, that makes a HUGE difference.

Would you rather be Geelong sitting outside of the 8? They're certainly not acting like their season is over. Or have the run home that Sydney, Port or Melbourne has?

Remember it doesn't matter who is in the top 4 right now but in three weeks time. Does it suck that we lost to the Swans? ABSOLUTELY! But not the end of the world.

All we need is for West Coast and Richmond to win the rest of their games too.

I've been super optimistic all season, and we are still playing committed football, but my fear is we've now had one too many injuries to key players, especially in defence. As for our form, we've now lost 3 of our last 4 games. In any one's language, that is not good form. Football is results driven and on that score we have been failing - due to injuries, not effort or coaching.

My view is that we are almost a 50/50 proposition in all our remaining 3 home and away games. We could still win them all and climb back into the top 4, or we could find ourselves missing finals altogether.

But if we can make the finals (anywhere in the 8 will do me) and get some of our key players - De Goey, Treloar, Moore, Aish, and maybe even Goldsack - up and going, then we are still capable of going all the way and pinching the flag. The problem is, I doubt most of these players will be available and in good form. As it stands, all we can do is hope.

win 3 games: we finish 3-4
win 2 games: we finish 5-6
win 1 game: we finish 7-8
win 0 games: we finish 9-10

It's in our own hands...take it one week at a time

^ That sounds about right. I'm still confident we'll play finals, but it depends where we finish at the end of the home and away season.

Think we can miss winning one game too due to our fairly mediocre %

We held on last week and we're playing for 2nd spot Shocked

Anyway, win tonight and set up for a big last 2 rounds, knowing we'l be playing finals footy! Cool
It's been too long Collingwood, it's there for the taking.

GO PIES!!

Winning tonight ain’t enough for the 8 without other results going our way.

Care factor is zero.

He's a Port flog.
