Injuries got the better of us, so it explains why we ran out of legs in the final quarter.

There's one thing I'm certain of and that is that we're coming! We lost the battle today but Richmond should be very afraid come finals time.

Great effort today. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for Shazza.
Given a bit of luck we're as good as anyone ing the comp.

Another honourable loss.

Injuriy to Howe early. Hope that Schaz ain't serious.

Missing too much class in the end.

Hard to come when half your best team never plays.

Amazing effort.

Gutted. Flat. Poor Shaz.

Shazz is done. Clearly medial. Throw the kitchen sink at May, don’t need Lynch.
Good signs, fully fit for a full game and we’ll go close to them. I’d love to see how well they could cover and Injury or two but it just never happens.
Hope some of the VFL boys can come in and give us something but I fear 2018 will finish with an anchor and we’ll need to come back in 2019.

How many times do their defenders illegally hold and impede.

FFS Howe got pushed straight into Moore and concussed. No free kick

Absolutely agree. Put even Howie back in our side for the full game today and the smart-arses would've been worried.
So very concerned about my boy Shazz , but hoping he had just suffered a bruise to the knee, like WHE apparently did and he has continued to play brilliantly.

I think that if we get back De Goey, Treloar and Elliott. Perhaps Goldsack and don’t suffer any more serious injuries (ie Scharenberg is ok) then we can have a genuine tilt at the flag this year. It is funny how a loss can sometimes indicate more than a win. Tigers are gettable. This is the first time that I thought this way. West Coast are also a legitimate contender.

Yep 100 percent spot on.

Haff, seriously? The last page you said they rolled over? Not sure what game you watched, yes they slowed down but they pushed to the end, watch Adams in the last minute, that was a hell of a game, against the best in the comp, three defenders down, I just can’t believe anyone would have a crack at any player out there today. Just pathetic.

I take so much from that game, a hiding looked likely but they fought back even after losing Howe and the Shazza, THAT right there is a team, and a champion team in the making. Be afraid, be very afraid, we are about to get back to our rightful place, the team EVERYONE else loves to HATE!

And just aside, how does dusty get away with the throat gouge fend off? Surely that’s not kosher

I deal in reality and in my view the Scoreboard flattered us. The Tigers were in control all day and when it mattered they kicked away. We are getting some quality games into some players and will be better for it and in saying that we are not quite there. Sure injuries don't help but that's football. It was a tough game and we will benefit from it. Good teams bounce back after a loss and we need to win next week.

Great effort given the circumstances, some very, very questionable decisions from the umps led to at least three Richmond goals.

Jeez Cotchin is a dirty dog.

Strange game from Sidey.

Gutted for Shaz; did not look good
