C'mon Raw Hammer we are all upset, but you need a litre of gin and a box of sedatives mate. Losing the Berg is worse. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

He may as well have laid that tackle in the seniors (may or not have been injured 99 other times out of 100) so we could use his value for a MEANINGFUL game. |
What a load of rubbish. If he cant make it through a half baked 2nds game, he wouldn't last a quarter in an AFL game. And you'd be the first to blame the club for playing him when he clearly wasn't ready, and being one down again. _________________ I hold a cup of wisdom, but there is nothing within. |

Time to make some cold calls on our perennially injured players come seasons end.
Fasolo-Elliott-Reid-Wells i'd be moving on, i know Reid and Wells are contracted for next year but IMO we're better off just paying them out and taking the cap hit, replace them with cheap options. _________________ Defender...........

Jaimie looks a fair way off it.
Fas was lively and could be a chance to come in soon, same with Aish.
If only Crocker could do what he does at VFL level at AFL level |
I think he could, in time, when he is allowed to play as a half-forward flanker, rather than a hit-up CHF, 6 inches short. At senior level, he's used to plug holes, rather than play his game, at the moment. |

Injury Update: Unfortunately Jamie Elliott was unable to finish today's VFL match after reinjuring his left hamstring late in the day. We'll know more about its severity after scans in the next 24-48 hours #vflmagpies |

Agree - no point keeping “players” that never “play”. Problem is once they get through a VFL game - it’s just a question of how many quarters until they reinjure themeselves in an AFL game.
All great players, but like Shaz, injury prone players will always get injured - and unfortunately, reinjured.
I’m frustrated like all of us - just think we’ve had too many years of this; and seems more to it than just bad luck. Time to change the way we recruit and/or change the way we train / strengthen / condition etc... |

Fasolo might be better than Elliot now but only because he is fit. Fully firing Jamie was / is? 10x the player faz is. _________________ No Pressure, No Diamonds

I suppose with Jamie out it's a case of:
"Cometh the Hour, Cometh the Fas" |

I don't see a spot in our forwad line for Fas, who does he replace?
Stepenson?
Thomas?
WHE?
JDG?
He doesn't have the tank to play wing either, i think he's played his last game for us. _________________ Defender...........

This club is a joke.
If I was Lynch, I wouldn’t come near The holden centre. |
You can vent yes; but don’t say the club is a joke. The club could have really panicked and brought him straight in this week for DeGoey but they didn’t. They did the right thing by playing him in the twos. If he can’t get through a VFL game then clearly he’s not ready to travel to Sydney. Better to happen today than next Saturday night. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

I'm assuming JDG won't travel to Sydney so it would be nice to bring in someone we know can kick goals at AFL level. Having said that I acknowledge your concern over his tank (and tacking pressure). |

With Fasolo he is a good chance from anywhere inside 60 metres. And when he is kicking into the 50 he has a low-height missle stab pass ( bucks like ) that almost always finds a chest. And i believe he also has better finesse ability than Jamie ( banana, snaps, dribbles etc ) Fasolos execution is at a higher level.
Fasolo has kicked 139 career goals, 89 behinds. 101 games
Elliot has kicked 138 goals, 61 behinds. 89 games
However Fasolo played a season in defense. And kicked 2 goals 3 behinds in 5 finals.
Jamie has kicked just 1 behind from 3 finals games. _________________ Gavin Brown.. Collingwood lifting..Right on the boundary line, back to Milane likewise... DAICOS nearly runs out of room........ GOAL |
