Week off first week of finals Haff...

With games against Richmond, Sydney and Port our ladder position is firmly in our hands. Games against Brisbane and Freo, whilst winnable won't be easy, but hey there are no easy games anyway.

Two road games could help prepare us for the finals.

No we won't, because I reckon Eagles will finish on top....after we beat the Tigers next week. That would set us up to play the Tigers first week of the finals.......and then against them again in the Granny. Cool

Rich v Coll
WCE v Syd
GWS v Port
Geel v Haw

I致e got GWS finishing top 4 and would have them as the form team we will play in the GF.

Despite much evidence to the contrary I think Richmond is entirely beatable (not just by us).

WCE

For me (based on higher ladder position team winning each game).

Yep my bad, still, two matches over there will be a tough ask.

I'm just waiting impatiently for injuries to hit them... I've been waiting for more than a year.

I think playing Freo at Optus stadium (for the 1st time ever) will hold us in good stead for when we play the eagles week 1 over there.
My prediction:
Richmond
WCE
Collingwood
Port
GWS
Geelong
Sydney
Hawthorn

Well if we lose all remaining games, which is unlikely but possible, we'll miss the finals.

Winning only against the Lions and Freo, I have us finishing 6th.

Port and Sydney are the pivotal games, we cannot afford to drop the Port game particularly.

Dunno, best case realistically I see us 4th. It might come down to what injuries, if any, we get against the Tigers.

Worst case scenario would somehow end up with the Hawks in a knockout final.

Didn't hurt the Dogs in 2016.

Played Fremantle in the final round in Perth, and then travelled back to Perth for the first week of finals to play the Eagles in an elimination final.
