I think we are on a level below all three of these teams, but i think we are at least on par with Port, Melbourne and Sydney. I consider North, Adelaide, Geelong and Hawthorn to be on the next level below us.

We still have a lot to prove.

There is no class of the league. It's just degrees of mediocrity, largely determined by injury lists (see Adelaide, Sydney, GWS, WCE,...).

GWS were very flat mid season. I remember thinking I'd love another crack at them at the time.

They have lifted in the past few weeks. But we've also become a far better side than earlier in the year. Can they beat us again at the MCG?

If we can avoid a trip to Perth in the finals, I'll be happy with that. I dont think WCE can beat us twice at the MCG in the same year.

Richmond.... well we'll find out a bit more next weekend. But they are the form team of the competition. Just like Collingwood in 2011.

Agree. Form and favouritism fluctuates throughout the season, and will continue to...

GWS have clearly stamped themselves as a genuine threat. Remember that they are doing all of this without Cameron and Patton. Sooo many stars! Will be hard to beat in September.

WCE at full strength are a scary proposition.

Tigers are still the form of the comp.

These are the three i am not sure we are quite ready to beat. i feel pretty good about the rest. Still, this give us a shot at making a prelim, which would be a great accomplishment.

Add Lynch next year, get Treloar, Moore and Aish back to full strength and add another year of growth and development into Stevo, Sier, Daicos and Murray and i like our chances in 2019!
