Must win with Richmond and Sydney to follow. Cox should straighten us up. Our other issue is how we handle both Brown and Daw next week. Moore looked comfortable but Shazza/Howe on the other tall looked dodgy today.

and Could be a Few More

I would probably drop greenwood before Varcoe. I know Varcoe was terrible today but that was first game back, and he has pace. Greenwood is slow and he is not giving us much after three or four games back.

A lot will depend on whether Elliott is really match-fit. He’s a weapon but I’d not expect him to have much impact first game back after so long out with only one scratch match to get the engine re-started. Aish has had more match hardening this year and probably could come straight back in.

I think Sier will play - hopefully just a corky today.

I suspect Varcoe will be retained, since today (as bad as he was) was his first game back.

I reckon we need an injection of pace so hopefully Murray will get another opportunity.

Out: Crocker (sadly, probably forever), Daicos (needs a rest), Mayne (declining form)

In: Cox, Murray, Brown.

Watching Sier is a bit like watching an overweight Swanny trotting around. However its muscle and that's not a bad thing.

He turns the ball over too much.

He wasn’t alone there. He’s had a run to get the rust out, give him another week
