Very happy with these selections. Really happy to see Murray in...didn't think that he would be selected, but rapt that he has been. Murray's pace is a real wild card element that we need.

Collected nicely on the Eagles last week at $2.50. Could not believe those odds.
Same for North this week. I think it will be a close one. Worried about their speed. $2.50 very good value in my opinion. Happy for TAB to take a few of my $ though for a Pies win.

Dunno, have another look at North’s formline in the last month without Jacobs and Waite. Haven’t been away from Etihad and still been struggling against average teams. Swans beat them without a frontline mid field at Etihad last week. I’m not convinced by this mob. |

When was the last time Murray played in the VFL?
We had a bye last week and I get the feeling he was held over for the AFL side the week before? |

Murray's form probably doesn't constitute a call up. But remember we currently have a backline of flankers plus an underdone Moore and so guys like Crisp have to play tall and that can affect rebound. Maybe he is primed to be our spare defender this week. Phillips and Mayne on a wing and no Treloar slows us down. Also maybe we are worried about North's speed.
The other thing is we have so many injuries we can having to choose from a very limited nucleus of guys in the VFL who are capable of filling an injury hole:
Daicos
Brown
Crocker
Oxley
Smith
Murray

| As each week goes by, it's becoming more and more apparent, how badly we are missing Treloar's attacking and fast running game. De Goey is probably the only other player on our list who can play that sort of role. |

Yes, for sure, look, I reckon Treloar is our version of Dusty M, we just cant be a top side without him, hes a very, very vital cog and is irreplaceable, we miss him hugely. Could Murray fill this role too, or Phillips ??

I wasn’t to know Cox would be a late withdrawal!
And we looked good 20-0 up after 15 mins.
Blame Varcoe’s terrible kick to WHE to put us up 4 goals to 1, game changer!
Have North even played at the MCG this year?

Once, against Melbourne, Round 3. Stayed with them for 3 quarters, then got blown away in the last.
