The big boy struggled up forward today, but a couple of deft taps and some genuine good marks down back showed he's more than a sideshow, he's the real deal.

Those 2 saving marks he took in defence showed another string to his bow. He is reading the play so much better now and having an impact on the game all over the ground.

^I laughed when I heard it.
Yes masoncox, the chant was clear today. But it was not a new chant. It had been heard at least at one game previous.

Yep, Queens' Birthday.

Oh DTM
I liked the chant.
Something different...unusual.
Most aussies don't think much of the US.
But we do admire a goer.
Mason has that quality.
So he deserved his own unique chant.

unique it is, and I hope it comes out more often - but only for special or game defining moments...

The chant was loud at the Cheersquad end. Not the first time its been used though. It was pretty loud at the Queens Birthday game as well.

Yep, the chant started in Ponsford. We were on the flank and the chanting made its way to us. I’m not into jingoistic stuff at all (and certainly not for a foreign nation - USA) but seeing how it riled the Essendon fans around us, well we all just had to join in.
The more they hated it, the more we did it.

That is great.
Yes I was in the pony stand and heard it.
USA chant would really grate on the opposition supporters.
One for Joffa and the boys and gals in the cheer squad to get it going next time the big texan gets on his bike.

That is pure Gold.

If the Essendon supports didn't like it, they left you with no other option, but to join in.

Makes perfect sense to me, I would have done the same. love it
