I know Dale Thomas isn't as explosive as he was before he got injured (so has lost a little bit of that x-factor), but boy oh boy i'd love to have him back in our team.

In addition to still being a pretty good player he has that in your face (never take a backward step) attitude that does so well in finals. He intimidated some of our players out there with his attitude and effort. Its no coincidence that he was our best performed player over a two week period at the end of 2010 (and similarly, no coincidence we lost a lot when he got injured.

i know some of you cant get over the fact that he chose job security ahead of us at a time when it wasnt clear that he would ever be a good player again, but i for one would love to see him back in the Black n White.

No thanks.

Won't forget what he did for us and his contributions in the 2010 premiership, but he's clearly past his best now and being at the age of 31, it wouldn't be a good move in my opinion.

Plus I doubt he would want to return anyway.

No problem with having him back if he were good enough. I don't think he is, nor is he reilablly healthy enough.

I thought this was a parody post as I read, but then by the end was convinced it was genuine. 🤢

i thought he was one of Carlton's better players yesterday. Was i wrong? He seemed to play the defensive sweeper role pretty well. Would he be an upgrade on Appleby or Daicos? Maybe not long term, but this year and maybe next? Especially, given his finals and big game pedigree?

Remember folks, he will always be a Collingwood premiership player (and a premiership star performer at that).

This. Thankful for his contribution to our club, but a long way from what he was and embarrassing at times. Reminded me of my 12yo son and his mates who trash talk opposition and then get beaten badly by them. Ridiculous from a grown man.

Cripps, Curnow, Kade Simpson.....but the rest of them, incuding Daisy, wouldn't get a game in our team if at full strength.

I hate hearing the moron fans that give it to him however apart from Carlton Daisy would not make it on anyone's list.

Did Dale play?

Did he do anything?

Did he get an effective possession?

I won't forget what Dale did for us in 2010 but every time we play Carlton he shows us all what a low quality human he is... Carlton is the perfect club for him.

Dale got one ineffective possession all day : Mason Cox.

Ed on the radio today said he believed Daisy got upset because Mason kept saying to him "Who are you?", "Who are you?".
Daisy took this as Mason trash talking him but Mason actually didn't have a clue who he was.

We just don’t need a 32 year old six foot flanker on next year’s list ( Collingwood premiership player or not )

Daisy these days just gives teammates hospital balls 70% of the time.
