Got a glimpse of Graeme Anderson in the number 21 and long sleeves in one of those clips. Such a beautiful left foot kick on the run for goal. Quirky note from the time we had a Graeme L Anderson on the list at the same time.

My recollection is that Graeme Anderson was a right footer.

Are you confusing him with Leigh Carlson?

Leigh Carlson definitely wore the long-sleeves. So many memories flooding back from that period.

It's stating the obvious but oh how I wanted premiership success!

Yes, they did. Anderson was exquisitely skilled but too slight for a VFL career (he was, of course, a brilliant centreman at Port, also in the long sleeves). Leigh was a bit slow for his size but was also a clever player when he wasn’t physically out-matched at the contest.

That's right.

I recall a Sun article where Anderson said that the reason that he wore the sleeves was that his arms were too skinny!

Anderson and Carlson kicked with different feet though.
