Ahem, tiny Huddo on the radio, few yrs back, once did a phone talk back phone poll, on the question of, " What would you rather, beat the Pies by ten goals in a GF, or by one point.?" Even Brereton said, its a stupid poll, grow up Huddo. I rest my case.  |
Dermie can't stand Huddo at the best of times! Years ago when Huddo first came onto the broadcasting scene Dermie asked him when he was going to grow into his head 
Given the choice, i'd prefer not to hear Huddo commentate, mind you though, there's a few in that basket with him!
Agree with Mugwumps assertion, sometimes the games are like watching paint dry and they need to try and spice it up best they can!

Hudson is clearly biased against Collingwood and it's been on display since his days commenting for channel 10.
He's reason enough not to get Foxtel.

Huddo was pretty good the night Jack Anthony kicked the sealer against the Crows in that semi.
You've gotta take it both ways. As others have said, he and other commentators talk up the underdog in games. I am sure there are games when we have been rank outsiders or in a rough patch against a better team where the commentators have been talking us up.

Funny thing from this video is that Arsenal went unbeaten the following season and won the title and Leeds were relegated and have not returned to the top flight since.
