C'mon snowflakes.
We won the unwinnable Grand Final in '58 with our freaking captain out injured.
Treloar is a midfielder. Not a key back, not a key forward. He's a replaceable part. Yes he's good, but he's not Pendles.
If there is one thing I've seen this season, one thing I've learnt, is that we have a system and you back the system. Goldie twists, Moore falls, Reid goes to rehab, Aish snaps, Varcoe twinges, Wells finishes, not even mentioning Elliott and Fasolo... we get up, plug in a new part and away we go again.
This club hasn't rolled over historically... and it won't be rolling over this time. We still have decent pieces in Wills, Sier, Crocker and Brown who can come back in. Trust the system. _________________ Get back on top. |

Well said.
Memories of '58.
I listened to the GF in the back seat of our family's FJ. 2 of my older brothers were in the front.
At 3 quarter time, we had a good lead, having smashed the Dees in the third quarter, 5.3 to 2 behinds.
My eldest brother stated: "Well that's it. Melboune will run all over them in the last"
We won by 3 goals.
Collingwood 2.2 7.6 12.9 12.10 (82)
Melbourne 5.1 7.4 7.6 9.10 (64) _________________ Donny.
It's a game. Enjoy it. |

One of the great things about our present structure is that we don’t have any key forwards or key backs, so no such player can ever get injured. |

Support your thoughts but it's going to get really tough shortly when we start playing the top teams like Port and Richmond. There won't be anywhere to hide on the field when that happens. The other players have to step up. |
