So sad but I genuinely think Jamie might be done. Can't stop the soft tissue injuries.
I hope I'm wrong but he can't take a trick.

We used to call them "back related hamstring injuries". A man cannot play footy with a bad back! Impossible.

Terrible news.I always thought he was our most naturally gifted footballer, along with Wells,so this is devastating news.I hope he can come back at some stage this year, but it's going to be hard for him now.

I doubt his career is over but we need not rush him back this year, full rehab and aim for next year.

He has enough ability to regain form but we need to get his body right.

Damn shame though.

So Smith and Elliott have both done hammies shortly after coming on after a break since the warm-up?

Sigh. Wells probably won’t get through this game.

I love Jamie, this is it I’m afraid.

Too many injuries, more time off the park that’s on it, sorry folks doesn’t look good unfortunately for us & him.

So sad for Jamie. He's worked so very hard to overcome injury, even before he was ever drafted. He's never had it easy, but has such incredible talent and is so badly needed by the team. Rotten footy gods.

Hopefully, he is given all the time he needs to get right, will come back late in the season and play brilliant footy.

Just looked up his actual age. He's still only 25, will be 26 in August. So heaps of time to get him right so that he can come back and play his best, as long as he is treated patiently and he has the mental courage to go through a long rehab all over again. He's shown in the past that he's very strong mentally in that regard, but I guess everyone has their breaking point.

Can't help but think his recurring hamstring problems are the result of his back injuries/surgery. I hope he can return late in the season, but he could be done for good. Crying or Very sad
