For mine I would pay a lot of attention to selection—there are some tired soldiers after a tumoltuous period

Our captain may not get up

Let’s give these pretty pussies a belt

Out: Crocker, Mayne, Blair, Appleby

In: Wells, Maynard, Fasolo, Langdon

In truth, both Mayne and Blair were contributors today, but we have better players ready to take their place. Appleby will get more opportunities, but right now Maynard and Langdon are better defenders. After 3 weeks in the VFL, either Wells is ready or there's something going on we don't know about. FWIW, I reckon the Fas has worked hard to earn a recall, and we need an injection of class into our forward line. Crocker is a good worker, but he lacks the necessary finesse to be a regular forward imo.

Out : Pendlebury Appleby Crocker Blair

In : Wells Langdon Fasolo Maynard

Fasolo could be the one who really gets this forward line clicking. definetley needs to play

Is he ready MB?
Heard he went ok, how much time did he spend on the ground?

Maynard & Langdon make our backline a lot more solid.

Played 2 and a bit quarters, is my intel.

He's a natural endurance runner. And when he goes to Ducky, he's not there to get touches.

It could happen... Wink

Hopefully one (or both) of Langdon or Maynard are back. Appleby's game but he cost us today and even at his best isn't going to give us any run at all. That's probably the biggest improvement we can make to the side.

Other than that, whoever plays must be fully fit and ready to run. Hoping that's Wells and Fasolo, but not something I can tell from outside.

If tonight was our hangover and we rock up fresh next week we will smash the handbaggers by 7+ goals. If we fall off the cliff next week with the most sluggish performance we can muster then we will get creamed. Either way, I think this game will not be close.

Hand bags have had two more days rest than us, after their picnic match against the woeful GWS on their own pissing ground, but what else is new.? Wish Greenwood was fit, he gives that ponce Dangermouse hell, duckwood, and bald ablett must be contained. We do well against the Pussies, I think we will have a red hot go, as we usually do, we worry them a fair bit.!

Tom Hawkins possibly out
But G.Ablett in

They have an inexperienced defence, which is why Fasolo MUST play.

Porkins has done very little this year bar the GWS game. He is the ultimate dead duck decoy. I would rather they fine him 20000 bucks so he has to borrow money for his next tractor, If he gets rubbed out the structure changes. If Pendles doesn;t come up we maybe in strife because he keeps Dangermouse honest and they can't chuck him forward. The good thing is since that awful day in 2011 the pussies record at thye MCG is crap.

I’m with you. Seir BOG in the two’s though so I reckon he will demand some serious consideration at selection. It would be a hell of a baptism of fire though against Geelong’s mids.

I would go with the following:
Out:
- Crocker - not offering enough he has had some poor games now
- Mayne - just doesn't do enough in games
- Appleby - tried hard but cost us a couple of goals

In:
- Wells
- Fasolo
- Langdon

If Pendles is out, then bring in Sier for his first go at it.
