Young trio recognised by AFLPA

http://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/news/2018-08-15/young-trio-recognised-by-aflpa

"Three Magpies have been recognised for their fine 2018 seasons with nomination in the AFL Players’ Association’s 22under22 squad.

Jordan De Goey, Tom Phillips and Jaidyn Stephenson were all named in the 40-man squad that will be trimmed to a traditional 22-man team during the AFL Players’ Association MVP Awards on Thursday 30 August."

I might put a redback on him for rising star...hes at $11 atm

Stuff the Redback! I'm going the Grey Nurse! I'm stunned he's paying $11... where?
And who says Grundy is an A grader?! The ONLY thing stopping him from the Charlie is his teammates. Pendles, Treloar & especially Steelo will prolly take too many. But he'll b up there, more importantly I rate him as possibly the most valuable player in the game. Not in the MVP sense, but because there are so few like him & none better. His growing confidence with the pill makes him almost 2 players! A top Ruck, and an excellent mid. Prepared to run with it, kick snags, crash packs, pick it up off the deck, Mark like a champion, & run his opponent ragged! He is a secret weapon which no one else has. If we'd had Treloar, Darcy, & Jordy these last few weeks we'd be sitting on Ruchmonds head at the top. But we're a lot better with DeGoey & yes, Aish back, not to mention Ox in the last line & Madgen showed plenty, as did Mihocek in the first! So obviously Bucks will dump Ox & prolly Madgen, coz he's useless at Match committee. But I really believe we look stronger with those 2 down back.

Stevo $1.80

Oh Christ, he really is gaining support! Another bag of 5 & he'll be unbacksble!
So if he wins will he be our first ever?

Don't count anything yet. The Interstate mobs and the anti Pies usual suspects will find a way to dud hi, Maybe if he wins 4 Brownlows they can call them out.

Not sure if the voting system has differed but it appears that 52 is the highest ever?

Looked to me like Jetta absolutely dominated Dangerfield tonight...
Is this the same Jetta who was absolutely dominated by JS?

JS: 9K, 6H, 7CP, 5M, 2T, 3 1%, 1G 1B.

Seemed a solid performance to my eye. Do those who expressed great disappointment have unrealistic expectations?

JS is guest on the new show Footy on the Futon:

According to JS, tattooing is legal if you don't charge and your victim is over 18...

Oh, and his goal against Freo was actually touched...

And he likes the number 16 (Mayne!).

But the highlight is watching Bernie Vince eat a raw egg --- one mouthful, shell and all.

"Stephenson... played every game and became just the second player to play 26 games in his debut season..."

Can you guess who the first player was?
