Well with the Russians Diplomats getting Kicked out of Western Countries you think that Putin will not take this Sitting Down.

Though Putin runs Russia like the Soviet Union and as Dictator.

It'll just be tit for tat expulsions. Russia sent some mercenaries against a US base in Syria a while back and got destroyed so unlikely they'll go further than diplomatic posturing and expulsions.

^ like the state mobster that he is, Putin is a pretty rational actor. He does not want anything that will destroy his regime or Russia.

I think we could probably have avoided much of this, however, if we ceased to care about Russia and stopped humiliating it and trying to muscle into its strategic interests via the Eu and NATO. That’s not to defend Putin. He is the kind of troll that emerges when you subject a proud nation to humiliation and defeat. But sometimes we should try to understand that certain things are a reaction to our actions, they do not come out of nowhere.
