It suggests both Sier and McLarty are likely to play some senior games at some stage this season. Even if they got to play 2 or 3 games, it would give them a taste of the big time, and encourage them to go all out to become regular senior players in 2019. |

Looking forward to this game.
If we play like we did last week, we will win.
Good to have an unchanged lineup _________________ - Side By Side - |

Fasolo and Daicos not listed as emergencies after their games on the weekend? Laughable. They better be part of our plans vs Richmond. _________________ Est. 2002 |

I wouldn't read to much into the emergencies when it comes to possible selection for Richmond though a couple are outside chances.
3 of the 4 emergencies are yet to debut and including them as an emergency for Anzac Day affords them I believe certain allowances in the rooms and perhaps on the field prior to the match also and will be used by the club as a learning experience and a reward for good VFL form. _________________ He's mad. And won’t Razor Ray be looking forward to being the centre of attention on ANZAC day. Could rewrite the record books for 50 metre penalties handed out by one umpire during a game. |

Blair has been absolutely tearing it up in the VFL. Expect him to be a late inclusion for Anzac Day. |

NO CHANGE |
I think it was clear that there'd be no change with a 12 day break after that great team victory Vs Crows. And of course the players running around on Saturday at Vic Park.
I happy with no change. I feel like Fasolo, Wells, Daicos are close to selection and of course we'll be monitoring Adams and Moore for Richmond.
From the named players, I'd like to see Maynard and Langdon lift and perform less brain farts. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Emergency players are purely insurance and not to be confused for instant introduction into side .
As to VFL players from the exceptional win last Saturday there were more deserving player’s than place’s available on the pine
Once the best twenty two are established and we gather momentum and winning form then injuries , fall off in form ,suspension will be the time for new players and it would be the experienced before the up and comers _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Im no coach, but here goes;
Bully Zach Merrett. He can be taken out of the game with a solid tag. We've seen other clubs do this in 2018 and he's been out of touch. Levi would have been a good choice, but the obvious choice is Sidebottom after his number on Sloane.
Essendon have a decent 22. But their bottom 6 players can be exposed. Hartley, Green, J. Merrett, Parish and Myers are not match winners.
McDonald-Tipungwuti is quick. He can tackle. But he is easily beaten in a contest and he has no aerial aspects to his game. Tag him. Stay between him and the ball.
Grundy will have his hands full with Bellchambers. Do not underestimate what Bellchambers can do. I actually rate Bellchambers and I think Grundy will still have a good game, but not as dominant as previous weeks.
Don't let Stewart get into the game. He'll be keen to perform well against Collingwood. Scharenberg will probably get him and he'll need to shadow him.
Hooker and Hurley will look to control their defensive area. Should Cox be told to stay inside F50 and near the goal square all day? Or should he be told to take his opponent out of the contest by leading him away from the incoming ball?
Dunn will get Daniher. I do not want a repeat of last years show. Daniher is out of form. But geez, we still need Dunn to keep him quiet.
Essendon run fast and move the ball fast. The rain and the size of the MCG will affect this, but we'll need to counteract with our own pressure acts.
Jeremy Howe was quiet against Adelaide. Look out for him to respond with a big performance.
I've picked on Hoskin-Elliott a little bit recently. He does some good things out there, but I also feel like he makes silly choices sometimes. Langdon is in the same boat for me.
I think it'll be a day for smalls to run riot.
And remember... Brent Stanton no longer plays for Essendon. This move alone increased their toughness and competitiveness around the ball. Unfortunately the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man has taken up a job at Carlton.... Which could explain Carltons ummm... contested ball efforts in 2018. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Great analysis Presti. But I don't think that Shaz has teh wheels to go with Stewart. In fact, it's the pace of both of their talls that has me quite concerned. |

Discussion on who handles what Bomber but it’s talked of by media Bomber back half is not the most competent in AFL
Who goes to Cox (will it be two defenders to nullify his height and reach)
And if Reid’s nouse gets him into space who goes to him
Then the pace machine/kid Jayden—-of course our mids can make that work
Interesting to speculate _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

I know Daniher hasn't been in great form, but I think he's our biggest danger. We just don't have anyone who can play on him. Moore would be an ideal physical match for him. _________________ "We ain't gotta dream no more" |

Tomorrow is big as!!
I look with interest at the ladder with two games left in round five
We have the opportunity to leap over sides and a win can put us eighth
Wipe the floor with Bummers having a huge win seventh is ours
Great footy last two games so now do it again _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |
