Ok. Nothing to report from the Crows game. Unreal.

Thats the first match in yonks where we didnt have someone go off and not come back on during the game.

The following players should be tested to play against Essendon or in the final VFL game of the year:

Daniel Wells, Darcy Moore, James Aish, Jordan De Goey and Brayden Sier.

I believe the club has wrapped these guys up for 2020:

Isaac Quaynor and Will Kelly.

Will probably miss the rest of the season, but who knows:

Ben Reid.

And obviously these guys are gone until next year:

Mason Cox, Dayne Beams, Lynden Dunn and Tom Langdon.

The same source that told me Langdon’s knee needed a operation 6 weeks before club announced he was getting operation says his knee hasn’t come through the operation as they had hoped.
He’s still suffering severe swelling and information in the joint along with a degenerative bone issue causing the bone to start crumbling against another bone and basically flake away
Source says club is go8ng to seek further medical information on whether it’s worth his while to attempt to play on from 2020
I’m told it’s at best 50/50 he will get back on the field and he may be offered medical retirement meaning he gets paid his base contract out and retired from the game
There is a new medical treatment being trialed in Europe and USA of injecting a silicon substance around the joint filling in the gaps where bone has worn away and stopping bone on bone rubbing
Whether this is a option for him and whether or not it’s a enough for him to continue a AFL career I don’t know but it appears his options outside this are very limited
