You'd think Fasolo will get the nod for round 1.
The VFL side surely must have another practice match next week he can find some touch in again.

Grundy Pendles Trealor
Bench: Crisp, Stephenson, Brown, Blair
Emerg: Scharenberg, Smith, Daicos.
Not sure Fas will be rushed in, but I’ve named him.
DeGoey, Wells, Elliot, Goldy, Greenwood, Aish all injured and unfortunately our depth (or lack there of) means the rest of the squad cannot reasonably be picked.
I hate saying it, but this could be a looooong 2018.

Fair call. I just keep reminding myself that all things equal, we should be in better shape come round 3.
If we can be one win from first two rounds with that team, I would take it.
The above team starts to look very different when you add DeGoey, Wells, Elliot and Aish ( on 2018 pre season form ) |

if Aish and Fasolo are fit, this seems just about right to me.
Scharenberg is the only other one that might be in the mix.
Also hoping that Bucks resists the urge to play guys like Smith and Mihocek.
When does the youth movement start - Sier, mcLarty, Kirby, Daicos? etc.
or do the pies just have 2 spots available all season for 2 kids

That's a good team to me that compensates for the loss of Wells, JDG, Elliot and Aish (and I like what you say about Goldy). |

Broomhead? I've been on Team Sweeper side since we drafted him, because he knows what front and centre is, but not anymore. I doubt he'll play a senior game in black and white ever again.
