IMHO, St Kilda is a basket-case right now. No surprise to me they dropped him.

Tangangalamba - perfect fit for him. Seriously though, I'd give him a spot in our VFL. He might turn out to be a bit of an Aish - get his body right, get his head right and show why he was a top draft pick. Not on a senior list though.

Good decision. He's been a bad return on investment. Yes, he played two games, but he's just a twinge away from another lost year. Don't blame them.

I think there are other issues with Freeman. Richardson Im sure said in an interview there were things he was working on other than fitness, something about his defensive game ??

Then there was this from Bucks when he left. Many thought it was sour grapes at the time...

Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley has warned rival club St Kilda that Nathan Freeman's "problems" will follow him to the Saints if they trade for the former No.10 draft pick.

Buckley did not say whether the "problems" he was referring to were purely related to Freeman's body or otherwise.

"The fact that we haven't been able to find out what sort of footballer he can be is the disappointing thing. Nathan has a part to play in where that's come about," Buckley said at the AFL Coaches Association awards on Tuesday night.

"Some of his problems will go with him, wherever he goes, and he'll have to remedy those. But we're pretty comfortable in the fact that we've provided the right environment for him."

This. I don't see the uproar from most Saints fans over his delisting.

2 more games than most get to play, so good on him, just unlucky.

Next!

^^ I take your point and suspected as much. I don't think Freeman was one to accept the medical advice and was not a great trainer I sense. Suspect his absence at St Kilda has been in part because he hasn't put his best foot forward.
