The Collingwood media staff are delicate souls. According to Ben Crocker they break in to the players' training sessions in the weights room to tell them to turn down the music. Of course, we wouldn't want the players' preparations for the 2018 season to disturb the quiet life of the club's staffers. Their workplace serenity is so much more important that winning games of footy.

The club made a lot of the new media department saying it would benefit
supporters
And the Grind in its infancy was as we saw players and coaches in team
style discussion
Hope the Michael Christian one they have on Monday after match returns

The Media team to me seems to be Lazy and does not do much work on what you see they put out

Correct Dave,
We read more on Facebook via other outlets than the Collingwood media puts out.
Most other clubs have a TV channel with clips almost daily

How many times do we despair at media reports related to Collingwood when all Collingwood Media has to do is keep us informed with real club news

and We had No Video's since Last Year as you say Other Teams Media People put Video's out Daily

Channel 7 had a camera which was filming the Saturday morning training
but I did not get home in time to watch evening 7 news do not sure if it
was featured
There was a small piece on Sunday Sun newspaper which highlighted Ben Reid’s good showing

Can’t say if other clubs have a media to keep their supporters informed
My attention is on my club who are blessed with a passionate supporter base
Appreciate they now have other teams as part of club and that’s fine
But Collingwood don’t forget where you started from and give us updates please

| Indeed. Though there's some sort of balance required between keeping the supporter base informed and revealing too much to the public that might give the opposition a competitive advantage. (That's a general statement, not an excuse for the alleged silence in the current case.) |
