I miss Warburton Lad. I miss those comprehensive poetic and amazingly informative training reports.

I know there are other things in life (I can't think of any but there must be), WL is probably very busy and has other things on his mind.

But spare a thought, I'm needy, I'm addicted. I desperately need to read a WL training report. It's ok during the season. One can cope. But at this time of year!!! It's too tough.

Warburton Lad, be kind.

I'm guessing WL is only human who has children, or grandchildren and has been enjoying his Christmas break. At some point he'll be back at training reporting how the boys are going and we'll enjoy reading his reports again.

Perhaps Nicksters need to get behind the P76 and give it a push.

Good morning Nicksters.

Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated!

Alas, I have been struck down and succumbed to an arthritic knee. I am slated for a total knee replacement in May. As a consequence, I am unable to get down to Collingwood's Mecca to provide a report on our beloved Magpies.

I don't provide commentary on home and away games as people can make their own observations about what they see.

I apologise to all and sundry, but hope that I can make a full recovery in time for reporting on next preseason.

WL, there's no need to apologise. I hope your knee issue resolves satisfactorily.

I've heard the Lad has been selling his knowledge to the club to ensure we play finals. He may even be sitting in the coaches box on game day imparting wisdom among those assembled

Thanks all for your concern and advice around the forthcoming surgery.

Rest assured I have researched extensively and sought multiple opinions around this.

In terms of 'selling' my knowledge to The Club, if it cost them a can of Coke and a pie and they would still be paying 'overs'.

Looking forward to getting back on my feet to cheer Magpie victories and provide a training report or two for our legion of supporters.
