Broomhead and Kennedy were clearly over rated drastically. Unlucky with Freeman and Scharenberg. Grundy.. well not much needs to be said there, clearly a star and he'd be the full package if he could just take a strong grab and kick goals.
Lynch would be great, but not at the expense of selling the farm and paying for it for the next 5 -10 years. The only reason to do that would be to complete our side to make it a high chance premiership contender, presently we are no where near it. The slate has been cleaned for this season sure, but our underlying problems haven't been addressed at all.

For me 3 good players indicates 3 players who would be regularly selected in the 22.
It should be noted that being able to land that amount of players in the one off season isn't easy with the constraints of the salary cap and/or trade currency at play.
Funnily enough though Essendon did land 3 players in Stringer, Smith and Saad who'll be playing tonight and all of whom I'd consider best 22 players.
Port Adelaide is another with Watts, Rockliff and Motlop so it shows it is possible and it'll be interesting if these players help propel them to greater heights in 2018.

Anyone know how James Stewart went last night? (And to a lesser extent Jake Kelly?)
