I can at least relate to your points 2 and 9, Joffa. The rest... well, don't ask.

I just want some hope Joffa.
Got none at the moment.
We will win a number of games this year but we won't get on a roll.

You missed one important point. We don't cheat unlike our Australian cricketers. And FWIW it was always going to be a slow start to the season given our preseason and injured players out.

Fair enough Joffa - today has been a very hard day for many of us for more reasons than one.

And although many of us may disagree on the clubs course of action, in the end all here are Collingwood faithful - so we should never forget this.

I can relate to all except No 7, but that doesn't bother me.

Yeah I was pissed off and to be honest still am. But I'm a Collingwood supporter. Heartache and pain is part of the job description.

About the best I can muster in confidence from this game is that we had our best forwards missing or in defence and Hawthorn had the full complement available.

There depth of forward line talent is amazing really.

Roughead has kicked 40 goals or more in a season 8 times, Breust 5, Gunston 5 and Rioli 2.

In comparison we don't have a single player on our list who has reached 40 goals in any season.

Still the likes of Elliott, Fasolo and Moore all provided the same structural importance to the side last year up forward and were our 3 leading goal kickers.

Elliott 34.16 from 17 games. Fasolo 29.29 from 19 games. Moore 25.19 from 21 games.

de Goey and Wells both contributed 1 goal a game from limited seasons.

Take them out and if we are perfectly honest we were always going to find it hard kicking a winning score heading into this game and needed to dominate midfield possession to have any chance. We didn't and the Hawthorn forwards above kicked 8 goals between them.

Game over.

Good post, Skids and I agree. Defeatism creates what it expects.

They are a much better side than most people think. We were well below strength. We’ll bounce back.

Yep. Looks like it's gonna be a long season.

But I have a 2 year old at home and he's the only 2 year old I'm ever going to have. The year can go as slowly as it likes.

It will be a long year I fear. We're a mess all over the park with no structure and I can't see us improving any time soon based on what I witnessed on Sat night. The future looks bleak. We may win a handful of games but that's it. We really need to move Bucks on asap if we're to salvage anything from the year. The sooner we realise that and act on it the better.

yes, My only positive was we had guys like Elliott, fasolo, de goey, greenwood and wells out, I think the dawks were much more full strength. So, one would HOPE we can improve with those players returning, we bloody damn better,.!! We CANNOT BE 1-5 atter six games,if we are, bucks and eddie must walk, and I have been a very strong supporter of Bucks, but we must not amble thru another wasted season, go 1-5, and changes must happen, fast. Surprised
