Played well against the Bulldogs. Why would you rest him? |

A few more minutes. Let's wait and see.
Most probably we'll name an extended bench for Sunday and trim it tomorrow. _________________ Pies Forever |

WTF!
Wonder how Sier, Wills & Fasolo feel about that?
If Wells is in for Varcoe then who is out for Mihocek? hopefully Appleby?
What of Maynard? |
Mihocek in his "one semi-decent game" was best on ground for the second week running and is usually in the best players every week. He can play forward or back, is strong as an ox, has great hands and is a very accurate kick for goal. How about waiting till you actually see him play before you bag him. Sier and McLarty are both out injured so I don't think they will be too worried about Mihocek getting a game. |

First of all, breathe.
I didn’t say he can’t play and am fully aware that Sier and McLarty are injured but am pointing out that other players have been better for longer and have been unfortunate not to be called up.
Btw I’ve watched him play several games and initially had concerns regarding his skills but seen some improvement of late in this area. |

Mihocek was U/18 All Australian CHB. He was Port Melbourne B&F in 2016 and premiership CHB last year so not sure what your concerns were regarding his skills. As I said, most weeks this season he has been in the best and for the last 2 weeks he has been best on ground, so how can you be so surprised when he gets a call up and say "WTF he has played 1 half decent game". And which other players in VFL have been better for longer?? He is replacing Reid at CHF. Who else did you have in mind for that job?? |

^Points well made. He's been prominent in the winning VFL team this season and was very stiff not to be in the VFL team of the year in 2016.
Best of luck to him on the weekend. _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

Love the cv summary for a 25 year old rookie playing his 1st AFL game, very impressive.
You still don't get it, all I'm saying is that I'm suprised players like Sier, Wills and Fasolo had been tearing it up in the two's for a while and yet Mihocek is given a chance immediately.
I agree that he's probably a replacement for Reid, maybe even Howe and wish him the best of luck. |

I still think that Blair is a chance to come in and play hit-up target at CHF. He did it for years while we tried to work out whether Jesse White's best position in the team was FB in the VFL or retired. |
