He posted it on Instagram where he's followed by 53,000 people which would include a number of young people and has the ability to influence their thinking and behavior.

Yeah, sorry, still don’t buy it. Anyway – and I know this is an unfashionable view in this day and age – but he’s actually entitled to express his opinions, dumb as they may be. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Clubs just can't turn adopt a 'no dickheads' policy when they have a top 5 selection in the draft. Otherwise they risk missing out on match winners like Martin or Franklin (not suggesting that either of these two are dickheads).
Sometimes the club just has to go ahead and pick the most talented kid and back the coaches and senior players to help the kid grow up as quickly as possible.
Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.
It's easy in hindsight to say we should have taken Naughton, etc _________________ Side by side. |

Oh wow. So he was drinking in the off season.. Is that not allowed!
And he had an opinion that wasn't popular .Had to apologise...
We are entitled to free speech, or so I thought.
At the moment we live in a nanny state.
I made a simple comment about Brett Sutton saying they were hoping to go for 0 cases. I wrote "GET REAL"
It just disappeared
Am so over everything including the footy.

Was in this Fox report.https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/teams/north-melbourne-kangaroos/afl-news-2021-jaidyn-stephenson-bike-accident-drinking-hospitalised-injury-what-happened/news-story/d613260fc0867bd765ea8fc702a8248c |
Cheers thanks mate |
He shouldn't need to ask. Patient confidentiality. |
That's exactly the point. He asked. _________________ Jatsad - That is all |

Too bad; done now. Numpty Hine strikes [out] again.
Having said that - do you think Naughton would have had the same scoreboard impact that Stevo did, in 2018?
And for that matter - would we have still made the 2018GF without Stevo, and Naughton in his place?
Who had the greater overall impact in their first season, is perhaps the question? |
Dyso, if it had delivered a flag, we wouldn't want to change anything. But it didn't. Then long term is more important than short term.
Dunno how many games Naughton played in 2018. And dunno if those games were playing back. Remember he was drafted as a CHB. |
K, if it had delivered a flag, I'm also thinking all the culprits may still be at the club. Certainly Buckley and Maguire, and arguably we may still have had to shed those players in 2020 due to the cap, but would have departed as premiership stars, with mission accomplished stamped on their papers.

He does have that right with or without asking. And if he was drunk, we should hardly be surprised whatever he said.
I wish patient confidentiality were treated more seriously. |

Yeah, he's exciting to watch.
Naughton played 18 games in 2018, 23 in 2019. Only 2 goals, 1 behind in 2018, so maybe it was mainly down back. Then 32 goals, 27 behinds in 2019. |

Stephenson dropped after round one. Looked totally disinterested against the Hawks and has paid the price. |

Feeling good about seeing him struggle seems wrong. Yet I do. 🤔
