Crows off a 6 day break, no Matt crouch already and hopefully a couple of others join him after saints game. We have a chance in this. Would be a huge win and really get us going. Go Pies!

Makes plenty of sense. Does Bucks have the balls to pull the trigger on Elliot and De Goey after 1 VFL game?

De Goey is ready based on what I saw today in the VFL and is an upgrade on what Stepenson offers right now. (kid will be a gun but needs time)

Crocker hasn't done anything wrong and has been close to our best forward, but Billy is an upgrade and Cal brown is a better option as a defensive forward so he stays and barry goes back.

Varcoe for fas is a hard one. Varcoe didn't have a great game but did have 3 goal assists. . I'm also wary of making 3 changes after a win.

Considering Faz has been able to get plenty of miles in his legs over pre season, I'd just bring in De Goey for Stephenson and Fas for Crocker, give Varcoe another week and Billy another week in the VFL so we can unleash him on ANZAC Day.

We'll get closer to them than conventional thinking gives us credit.

Don't think we'll win, but it won't be a smashing either...

In : de Goey
Out : Stephenson.

Give Billy and Fas half a game each in the VFL to rebuild fitness and have them ready for Anzac Day on the short turnaround.

I’m tempted to advocate Wills in lieu of Callum Brown on the basis that Adelaide’s big bodies may hurt us at stoppages.

Nah. Brown is keeping Blair and Mayne out of the side, playing as the defensive small forward. Keep him in. If we want to bring in Wills, it should be for Phillips.

You'd have to think this is a monty, the dozen goals this trio kicked today would've been the sealer... surely?

We can beat this mob, don't you worry about that. Cool

Can’t see there being more than 2 changes after such a good win.

Out: Stephenson, Crocker
In: de Goey, Elliott

Fasolo still lacks tackling pressure from what I saw in the VFL today.

There’s some restlessness amongst the Crows, after their preseason psycho babble camp. Apparently their Indigenous players, in particular, are still unhappy over what went down.

If we combine the relentless pressure we applied against the Giants with some of the efficient ball movement we employed against the scum, then we can win. Pies by 18 points.

I think there are a lot who can fill the defensive forward role and add more to it than. Al at this stage (Treloar, Varcoe, Thomas). It’s more about who you put in the middle in lieu of Treloar if he plays forward.

I see Phillips and Wills as playing utterly different roles. Flipper is a link player who never stops running, and as we are a bit challenged for pace and run and carry movement I would not want to lose him for the more singlepaced, bullocking Wills. Perhaps Wills just stays out, but their big big bodies at the clearances could well be decisive.

Thank God Sidey is clear to play. We definitely need him to stand a chance. I give us a chance.

We actually aren't that challenged for speed and run and carry.

Murray is quick. Manyard isn't slow, WHE and Treloar are very quick, Stephenson is damn quick but needs a spell. Phillps is one paced too, he just does it all day. Wills is a stoppage beast with a thumping kick. If you want to replace like for like, Wills would replace Adams in the midfield but I can't see that happening.
