Supporters have to go to media sites to find out what's going on at the club.
Very poor communication. |
Maybe the club doesn't know first-hand, on a Sunday night, the status of someone injured on non-club duty. I'm pretty sure our suspended (and part-time when not suspended) club doctor isn't over there in Adelaide to give the club a first-hand report. |

Wasn't referring to the extent of the injury. I was referring to the fact that the Collingwood captain has been injured and every sports web site in Oz is reporting it except the Collingwood web site.
Not good enough. What are these lazy Collingwood media bods doing to earn their money? Zip. |

I may be in the minority but it means nothing to me that a Collingwood player is involved in these games, save for the concerns that I have for our players sustaining injuries.
The players may be representing their country, but in what? A game that is foreign to both teams. It is meaningless. If the aim is to represent their country they could still do that and avoid injury, for example, by playing chess or darts (as long as Travis C isn't throwing them) against the Irish and pretend that it matters, as that is just about as relevant at the hybrid game that they played on the weekend. |
