Nothing, zip, on the Collingwood website.

Supporters have to go to media sites to find out what's going on at the club.

Very poor communication.

Maybe the club doesn't know first-hand, on a Sunday night, the status of someone injured on non-club duty. I'm pretty sure our suspended (and part-time when not suspended) club doctor isn't over there in Adelaide to give the club a first-hand report.

Only minor little injury tonight! Great to get the result tonight, loved pulling on the Aus jumper.

Very frustrating, but apparently the finger injury isn't as serious as first thought which is good news.

Wasn't referring to the extent of the injury. I was referring to the fact that the Collingwood captain has been injured and every sports web site in Oz is reporting it except the Collingwood web site.

Not good enough. What are these lazy Collingwood media bods doing to earn their money? Zip.

On his injury on SEN they say Pendles has said its only minor

On our fan information the club has a couple of club shows
during the season so why not an off season one as there are
lots happening

While I'm unhappy he reinjured his finger, I'm proud he represented our club as the only Collingwood player out on the ground in the international rules game and also happy we won the game. Hopefully his finger recovers before the first home and away game.

I may be in the minority but it means nothing to me that a Collingwood player is involved in these games, save for the concerns that I have for our players sustaining injuries.

The players may be representing their country, but in what? A game that is foreign to both teams. It is meaningless. If the aim is to represent their country they could still do that and avoid injury, for example, by playing chess or darts (as long as Travis C isn't throwing them) against the Irish and pretend that it matters, as that is just about as relevant at the hybrid game that they played on the weekend.

Ball games --my likes
AFL first and foremost
True Gaelic comes second
Rugby a distant third
Soccer (the sook game) way back

dont mind he gets some competitive game action after missing the back end of last year.
The exact same injury could have happened in training drills

Yeah I see all that but it's what floats my boat---may have been bit harsh
on the World game it most certainly very skilled

Born to an Australia that had the Australian game ,Cricket and tennis when
we had some greats---all other sports hardly seen (pre TV)
