I doubt we are working on Sloane when Lynch will probably be available and our biggest issue is a KPF.
Not unless we grab hem both? 🤔 |

We've apparently put a bit of work into Lynch over the last few years so doubt we would be diluting that chasing Sloan as well. |

OK boys, footy season's over, not much is happening.
Listeners are down, clicks on the SEN website are down.

So our new list manager is still a players manager for a some key players.
This has disaster written all over it. |

He does not take over our list management until AFTER the trade period is over.
This has been posted numerous times. |

It is very simple old drover. It is called a conflict of interest. It is exactly the same with public servants who want to run for parliament but before they do that they must resign their public servant position or job first even though they have not yet been elected for their seat. There is a very good reason for this and it is the same as what Seth alluded to. |

Call it what you like, couldn't care less.
So a question, once he becomes the list manager after the trade period (which is now) will he cease to be the player manager of several AFL players - Sloane and others?
So my question is will be be doing 2 things at the same time, player manager and list manager and if he is I can't see that being anything else but a conflict of interest.
And thinking about it more, he was announced our list manager whilst player manager for Lever and orchestrating his move back to Victoria. because he became our list manager did he then remove Collingwood out of the equation of possibly recruiting him because he felt it was a conflict and thereby (and this is the most important part) negating any possible chance Collingwood had of trading him in considering at some stage we were so 'into' him. Hmmm, interesting position we have put ourselves in once again. |

The answer's yes, he'll stop being a player manager. Why do you think otherwise? I mean, that's the whole reason he's not list manager now. If he were going to keep being a player manager, they'd be no reason not to start immediately. And it's not as if his job with us is part-time, allowing him the time to have multiple jobs. It's not like being the club doctor.
Also, do you realize Ned Guy isn't the boss? The management company is (ex-pie) Alex McDonald's --- which also means it's (relatively) easy for Ned's clients to be transferred to someone else (Alex & Dave Trotter). |

You mean, as a player? For us? How so? We weren't the ones who used the number 1 draft pick on him. |
