Along with 1 or 2 others he was close to best on, & not just for his possessions & run, but the way he did it. He was in the game from 1st bounce to last, the run, bounce, & pass in the 2nd where he picked out Coxy from 40 at full tilt was wonderful to see, & not a fluke, there were several such kicks on his highlite reel.
There's no doubt we paid like bitches for him, our second in the most heralded draft for a decade, for a 60th in the Rookie draft is overs in anyones language, but then Hines' preparedness to pay that high a price is indicative of how much we wanted him, and a belief that he was a perfect fit. Lets hope our second this year is pick #37, not #19. If some of the 2017 choices turn out to be as good as they already look, namely: Murray, Stevo, Murphy, Appleby, Mihocek, and Tyler Brown, who've all shown great signs already, it might well be closer to 37.

That’s provided we can **** up the AFLs plans & get to Rd.6 in the 8 rather than last.
