Boy oh Boy.

Did the club stuff up with recruiting this bloke or what.

What a complete and utter farce, can't believe the coin he is on too.

Offers absolutely bugger all. Gubby should be shot for having a hand in this recruiting blunder.

Surely won't be there post 2018 season.

Crocker hasn't been doing what we'd like to see positively but he's very hard and makes the defenders think about where he's coming from. He's been playing his role well. Personally, I don't think it should be a role (not criticising Ben - I like him) but he's been doing what the Coach required.

Hopeless. Whoever on the selection committee wanted him included, well, I fart in your general direction.

Damning Crocks with very faint praise there I'd say

Not meaning to - I think he's a good, creative player who's being asked to play a lock-down role that I'd rather we didn't have. His yips in front of goal are, I think, in part a consequence of the very hard physical role that's been assigned to him.

Well I think we can all agree he did a better job than what Mayne managed today, and for less than half the price

Nah - he's so slow that he's still trying to slither to the boundary.

He was on a hiding to nothing today; shouldn't have been recalled until we played a team in bottom eight, to regain his confidence at senior level.

I understand your thinking but I disagree. He's a good enough player when he's given the ball that he can do damage against poor opposition. I think it was the right thing to play him against Richmond and try to establish whether there is anything worth persisting with. There plainly isn't and that, I hope, will be that.

That is the other side of the argument; yet considering we have him contracted until the end of 2020, providing there are no plans to trade/delist him in 2019, they why choose today for the litmus test?!

He's never going to play a decent game of AFL again against opposition that matters, so we should just stop it.

Well, the same has been said of Blair as well, and yet he keeps weaselling his way back into the 22 by default....
