I know Ned really well, as he was Liam Jurrah's manager, when Liam was living with my family. Ned is a terrific bloke and a consummate professional. He'll be a great asset to our club.

Nice one Rudeboy. That's quite affirming to read.

Believe he has some players still in negotiations ( Jake Lever & Devon Smith)
and needs to complete his obligations to his current employer before taking
up his Collingwood job

If there is one thing Rude Boy touched on --he is the consummate professional and that the case he will be an asset

Geez we must have offered him more than his current earning capacity or he's the first player manager in history to not value lining his own pockets as his number one priority.

It's a left field decision but on face value it's seems like a decent enough one.

Left field yes but ain't it time we got less conservative and more daring

If the list of players we shunned by our conservative approach were displayed
who went on to premiership players it would make interesting reading

Cheers rudeboy that's enough of an endorsement for me then
I like the fact he's used to dealing with all spectrums of the player market from new kids in town to the older professional.
I'm sure his knowledge of the junior landscape and valuing players will be a huge value to us going forward
I was a little bemused when I first heard the name but did some online research and thought well he has pedigree if nothing else

Be a switch --getting the most money for his client for a good result

Now spending the least of his employers money to get a good result

Don't forget that the club is also appointing professional talent scouts which will be a great asset to our recruiting department. Things are starting to take shape now.

Scouts --National Recruitment Manager and Director of Recruiting and Strategy

So they locate and evaluate after which if contract issues arise Guy is the man
to work thru that
Then the coaching staff have to make the end result show in wins
Plenty of wins in fact
Is it that easy ????

Just as important as new acquisitions from now is the players already with us and signed up

That's where Bucks new brigade has the job of taking the current crew that next step

Then we will have it right

Thankfully we're seeing some changes to our list management dept. IMO this is the primary issue at the club. Whilst it's clearly early days and will take some time to see if it's successful, at least we're doing something about it.
