I hope not, That happened to Cox and now he's out for the season.

Please don't get poked in the eye Pendles.

Not too many players lead their team to a Qualifying Final victory from fourth in their 300th game. What a giant of our Club and legend of the AFL.

Great pressure game. Kicked our only goal of the second half. That's telling.

Well said Pies4shaw. So happy for him that he had a 300th that he will always look back on with such pride, both in his own wonderful efforts and those of the team he led.

Absolute star.

One of the best on ground last night. All class too.

Hopefully game 301 is just as good. And 302 is even better!!

Will be able to pass Coventry (306) early next year, possibly on Anzac Day. But it'd also be something if he passed Coventry under his name at Marvel?

Getting to 313 will also be in reach next year. That will be a massive occasion.

So Pendles finishes 2019 on 301 games.

If everything goes as planned, he'll equal Coventry in round 5 & pass him in round 6. (306 club games).

He'll equal Shaw in round 12 & pass him in round 13. (313 club games).

He had a fantastic season, which included All-Australian selection. He will finish near the top in the Copeland. Let's see how well he polls in the Brownlow medal tomorrow night.

Been some talk about the captaincy being moved on, but I'd like to see him stay in that role.

From the start of the year:

Quote:
1 game to pass W. Richardson for outright third at Collingwood.

23 games to reach 300.

30 games to pass G. Coventry (306) for second place at the club.
(Now 6.)

37 games to pass T. Shaw (313) for the club record.
(Now 13)

7 more Brownlow votes to pass Dane Swan as Collingwoods highest vote getter.

5 more Brownlow votes to enter the top 10 for total votes.

22 more Brownlow votes to pass Leigh Matthews as the highest total vote winner without winning the medal.*
Didnt get there tonight.

30 more Brownlow votes to enter the top 5 for total votes.**
Didnt get there tonight.

*(Depending on Joel Selwood)
*(Depending on Joel Selwood and Dangerfield)

Pendlebury is now Collingwoods highest vote getter.

How the f### is Duckwood in the top 10 vote-getters of all time?

Is he a much better player than I give him credit for?

Maybe I'm just blinded by my hatred of his weak ducking and shoulder shrugging tactics.
But I don't think so. Buckley, Pendles & Swan are all clearly his superior.

I'll put it down to the ignorance of the umpires who keep awarding him cheap free kicks. If they're too dumb to see thru his cheating tactics then they're too dumb to be awarding brownlow votes correctly.

Will be 32 in January.

Has:
Played 301 Games.
Premiership Player: 2010
Norm Smith Medal: 2010
6× All-Australian Team: 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2019
3× AFL ANZAC Day Medal: 2010, 2011, 2019 (Tied record)
5× Copeland Trophy: 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016
Most Brownlow votes from a Collingwood player
Top ten for total Brownlow votes. (He's 9th).
Collingwood Captain 2014–Current

Needs:
6 games to pass G. Coventry (306) for second place at the club.

13 games to pass T. Shaw (313) for the club record.

8 more Brownlow votes to pass Leigh Matthews as the highest total vote winner without winning the medal.*
*(Depending on Joel Selwood)

16 more Brownlow votes to enter the top 5 for total votes.**
*(Depending on Joel Selwood and Dangerfield)

It's a shame that his chances of winning the Brownlow are gone. I thought he'd poll much better than he did this year. Gaz and Priddis were 29 when they won their medals. I could be wrong, but I think Buckley was the last player to win a Brownlow in his 30s, when he was 31 in 2003?

I cant see Pendles winning with Grundy and Treloar taking over as the teams best players.

As far as All-Australians, it's worth noting that he is in every squad of 40 since 2009. With 6 selections in the final AA team, he is 2 behind Robert Harvey, Mark Ricciuto, Gary Ablett, Jr. & Lance Franklin who have won 8 selections. (Buckley has 7 and Dangerfield also sits on 7 and is likely to join the leaders). Its a shame he didnt sneak into an extra team or two.

But all in all, I guess the biggest one is that he could have played in another couple of premiership sides, including being the captain. And who knows, he may have been able to get another Norm Smith. Maybe next year?

The way he's going, he could get to 350. But we'll take it one season at a time hey? Cool
