Just watched the highlights of Pendles at CFC website. He is simply the most beautiful player to watch in full flight. Poetry in motion. The Roger Federer of the AFL.
Congratulations Scott Pendlebury. An achievement that has never been more deserved. You're the best!!! |

FFS, Bruce McEvaney spoke as if Pendles career was over. "Poetic....that's the way Scotty played his footy".
He's still playing you dimwit. |

Congrats to Pendles on reaching 300 games. Only the third player in our club's history to do so.
Hope he plays a blinder tonight _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

I’m 50 so I’ve seen a bit of the black n white over the years. Daics is still
My favourite, like most people my vintage probably. Then Bucks came along and was our marquee man for a long time. Then Swanny and Pendles seemed to share that top billing for a while. They were a great foil to each other though. Swanny the loveable larrikin and Pendles, just the model citizen on and off the field. An asset to Our club. An ornament to the game. Pure poetry in motion on the field. I couldn’t think of a person you’d want more to trust in to represent your club or to have the ball in hand in a clutch moment. That’s why his name and number are on the back of the last footy jumper I ever bought myself and at my age likely ever will. I wear it with extreme pride tonight. I really hope we give the number 10 a fitting performance for his 300th game tonight. He deserves it. Congratulations Pendles on 300 of the finest. A premiership and our games record beckons. #SP300 _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'
