Allowing for no injuries to our final 22 that played against Demons in final round which of the young kids (Brown--Daicos--Kirby) could play in round one

Prolly none but who knows with great pre season and pre season games

Gonna be an entertaining year for us.

Win and we'll be rocking the G

Lose and it'll be fun to watch the club implode around Bucks and Ed

So either way, we're in for some entertainment.

Ooh yes Dave and so much will happen with some new players coming onboard

I would suggest that Bucks will aim for experience getting us off to a good
start

Kids have time

If we're fully fit, I'd say none.

Daicos has shown the most at AFL level for mine, but I don't think he'll be ready to play seniors round 1. Then there's Brown who's last game was his best and could play as a Blair type forward, but will need strong pre-season games.

Kirby would be the least likely, although we have made the mistake of selecting players that aren't ready based on no pressure pre-season games before (eg. Gault, Cox, Witts). If Kirby can perform well in those games we could select him. Then we'd just hope his fitness is not found out at the higher level.

If you reckon we play people who aren't ready based on their preseason form you ought to be watching our Australian Test cricket side. Total bewilderment there. Our selection is not bad by comparison.

I'm looking forward to it too BazBoy. However, looking at our round 23 game against the Dees, we were missing Pendles, Wells, De Goey, Fasolo and Reid, so once they come back in I honestly can't see a spot for Daics, Brown or Kirby. Nevertheless, they'll get their opportunities as the season unfolds. Can't wait.

.......and I guess I forgot Blair has to return too....Doh!!!!!!!!!! Shocked

That in itself gives confidence that we beat a side on verge of finals with players mentioned out

So those you mentioned back in harness the kids will have to do some more VFL

Yeah right, the 17 losing teams and thier supporters should just end it all.

I'm not surprised you have a yank as your moniker.

Varcoe and Greenwood might consider themselves best 22 players as well.
