I think this was it. Ironically, if Howe had been our only one nominee, he would have probably won – as it was, two Collingwood nominees was the perfect way for him to lose.

Howes 41%
Even if you give the 7% of votes Grundy got to Howe, he still falls short by 4%.

^ Yep! Except the anti-Collingwood vote also gets split rather than all going to Daniher, which means Howe wins.
