I'm not suggesting this guy will be coming back as a coach but I can't help but think Gubby is in line for some position within the footy dept.
Maguire has been asked the question many times and he is yet to say " no ".
Eddie never has trouble giving a straight blunt answer when it suits him.
I smell a not so transparent appointment on the horizon. |

The only thing I want to see of Gubby is the back of him, holding hands with Mayne and disappearing into the sunset. _________________ Now Retired - Every Day Is A Saturday |

If the Matthew Boyd meets Nathan Buckley story is true --what promted it
As a fresh from the game applicant what is it that he see,s he has to offer in a new off field role and what would Nathan be trying to establish that he does bring to us
Simply new blood or has he been studied by us or other clubs _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

It was a discussion about coffee. Latte or Flat White. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Totally understand that sentiment but the bloke who hired him and demoted a good operator in Balme needs a kick in the behind also. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

I think you'll find with Rocket being ousted from GC that one Gubby will be heading north to help right the ship. |

Rocca will have part-time ruck coach role and match-day bench duties.

Comments and qReading some of Boyd,s and quote
I still have a strong passion for the game and would like to impact on the AFL scene in an off field role
Notf word for word but the general gist of his thoughts _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

One of the papers this morning reported that Rocca had been let go, but that Harvey and Lockyer would remain.
I must say I'm surprised that Harvey has been retained. Still, I don't know the guy at all, but hearing him talk has never filled me with confidence that he's got what it takes. But wtfwik? |

I want Rocca to stay involved in the club in some capacity. His heart is in the right place. He loves Collingwood like Buckley. |

Disappointed that Harvey is staying. Been there since the start of Buckley's tenure and I think it's time that Buckley be surrounded by fresh ideas from his assistants. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

We either want to improve or be the same average team. Harvey and Lockyer should have been shown the door along with him. Same same but different. |
